
A Designated Airworthiness
Representative (DAR) is an individual from the private sector
appointed by the FAA to perform certain airworthiness functions.
Functions performed by a DAR have the same validity as those
performed by an FAA Inspector, the significant difference is that we
will work to meet your schedule. Our DAR is authorized to perform
the following functions including the issuance of:
• Ferry Permits
• Export Airworthiness Certificates for Class I products
• Export Airworthiness Approvals for Class II products
• Issue Standard Airworthiness Certificates
• Issue Restricted Airworthiness Cerfificates
• Replacement of Airworthiness Certificates
• Notification of completion of Aging Aircraft inspection
